Woodstock is a city in Cherokee County. The first settlers called the area Woodstock, but the community did not become an official city until 1897.
Kudos to the planners of the revitalization of Woodstock, having businesses move into the old homes and the mix of old and new buildings gives the town a unique and charming look. I like the tree lined streets with planters of flowers and the park with a fountain and gazebo is a beautiful setting for the Veterans Memorial.
